fish_2_new.jpg Adirah Coulter-Jeffrey shows off the large brown trout she caught in the Water of Leith at the University of Otago. ''It's a very good-sized fish, especially for the shallow depths the Leith is running at at the moment,'' she said. Although it meanders through urban Dunedin, the Leith is home to some sizeable fish, Miss Coulter-Jeffrey said. Miss Coulter-Jeffrey is a dedicated angler. Her trout became a treat for a child-care worker at Te Pa - a Christmas present for looking after Miss Coulter-Jeffrey's daughter.
