"The BTech admissions committee met on Wednesday and decided to hold counselling to fill up the vacant seats. CU has 245 BTech seats. Dean Chakrabarty said the number of vacant seats might go up once JU held its decentralised counselling on August 8 and 9. JU has 67 vacant seats, five of which are in the most coveted of all departments, computer science and engineering.
