COVID-19: Nashik to remain shutdown for 11 days beginning today - know what's allowed, what's not

Strict lockdown-like restrictions will be imposed in the Nashik district of Maharashtra for 11 days beginning Wednesday given the surge in COVID-19 cases. Groceries, bakeries, sweetmeat, and other shops will remain open from 7 am to 12 pm, only for home delivery. Weekly markets and vegetable markets will remain shut. Shops under the public distribution scheme will remain open as per the orders issued by the authorities from time to time. Nashik district joins Sangli, Kolhapur, Amravati, and Solapur which had already announced total lockdowns amid rising cases.
