MELAKA: A group of thieves made off with six laptops worth RM8,000 after breaking into the office of an insurance company in Melaka Raya here today. “The suspects entered the building through the front staircase and made their way up to the second floor (the marketing department). “They then smashed the glass door of the second floor before stealing the laptops. “Only the second floor of the office, which uses the open-office concept, was broken into and there were no traces of the office being ransacked. Its first floor is the operations department, the second floor is the marketing department and the third floor is the insurance department.
