Customers exit the Park Street McDonald's store on Thursday afternoon. The city civil court had ruled in favour of Park Street Properties, but Calcutta High Court set the verdict aside in 2014. The court officials, representatives of the Karnanis and CPRL, and a handful of police officers went inside. A representative of CPRL said the court officials asked the officials of Park Street Properties to take possession of the furniture. An official of Park Street Properties confirmed that his company refused to take hold of the furniture.
