KOTA KINABALU: Datuk Ramlee Marhaban has filed an RM10mil libel suit against two Parti Warisan Sabah leaders for their comments over the presence of luxury vehicles at his seaside mansion here. Ramlee, the state assistant finance minister, named Warisan vice president Junz Wong and party youth chief Datuk Azis Jamman in the suit filed Tuesday at the Kota Kinabalu High Court by law firm Nurul Rafeeqa Marcel Advocates. He is also seeking an injunction restraining the duo from further speaking and publishing the defamatory words in print media, on the Internet, or orally. The two-term Bugaya assemblyman is also seeking an injunction to stop Wong, Azis or any of their agents from flying drones over his property, saying it was an unlawful intrusion. "The defamatory words spoken by the defendants are false, baseless and maliciously published," he said in his filing, adding that at no point did the duo try to seek verification of their allegations.
