KUALA LUMPUR: Activist Adam Adli (pic) was freed by a magistrate's court here for participating in the #KitaLawan rally two years ago. Magistrate Ahmad Solihin Abd Wahid acquitted and discharged Adam after the prosecution failed to prove a prima facie case against him Tuesday. The magistrate freed Adam without requiring him filing his defence. On Sept 8, 2015 Adam Adli had claimed trial to taking part in a street protest from Sogo shopping mall through Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, which ended at Esplanade KLCC, on Feb 28. Adam was previously charged with fellow activist Mohd Fariz Abd Talib, who was given a discharge not amounting to an acquittal as he was unwell.
