Holidaymakers throng Bholaganj Shada-pathar tourist spot in Sylhet Dhaka TribuneNo toilet or food courts at the spotA promising tourist spot, Shada-pathar in Bholaganj of Companiganj upazila is admired by many local tourists for it’s captivating beauty, but lacks tourism infrastructure. In the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, thousands of tourists who visited Shada-pathar were mesmerized by the landscape of hills, clouds and the crystal clear Dhalai river streaming between heaps of white stones. A tourist, Rajan Mia, said: “The spot attracts a lot of tourists but has no toilet and food outlets which causes tourists discomfort.”Rabiul and his friends came to enjoy their Eid holidays at Shada-pathar. On the day after Eid, tourist Abdur Rashid, a former student of East West University, visited the spot with his USA expatriate brother and other family members. The spot was admired by many of Rashid’s friends and relatives when he broadcast his experience on Facebook live.
