KUALA LUMPUR: They missed out on a family double, but it was nevertheless a positive outing for Gustin Jenang and son Bonnie Bunyau in the Kuala Lumpur Asean Para Games 2017 (Para KL2017) powerlifting competition on Tuesday. Gustin said it was not to be, but is hoping the experience will make Bonnie, 18, stronger. "I hope my medal will inspire him to keep working hard and improve on his weaknesses,” said the 50-year-old. The Sarawakian added that he is hoping his other son, Bryan Junecy, will be able to do well in the 72kg class tomorrow. "This is my third Asean Para Games since my debut in 2009, but (it’s) the first time all three of us are competing together," he added.
