KUANTAN: A 10-year-old boy, who was found chained to a gas canister in his home here last month, will continue to stay with his biological father for the next three years. This was the ruling issued by the Court for Children here today following expiry of the one-month temporary custody given to the boy's 36-year-old biological father, who works at a car wash in Melaka. Having been present during proceedings today, she said that the court's ruling had taken into account the welfare and safety of the child. "The court had laid down several conditions to ensure the safety and welfare of the child is safeguarded," she said. On Oct 11, the court had given the boy's biological father a one-month temporary custody over the victim.
