A boil-water advisory has ended for 260 homes on the Mountain. The warning, issued last week, covered homes on Brigadoon Drive from Apple Blossom Drive to Glenview Place and several offshoot crescents and roads. The advisory began after a routine sample from a fire hydrant on Brigadoon Drive near Nature Court last Monday. Water officials re-sampled and tested until they could show public health officials two negative samples indicating the water was free of bacteria. The last boil water advisory on the city's municipal water system was 2005, said Aisling Higgins, public health spokesperson.
