SUBHAS PANIGRAHISambalpur: The Nagarik Committee at Rairakhol sub-division has threatened to block the busy Sambalpur-Bhubaneswar road if doctors deputed to other hospitals did not return to Rairakhol - their original place of posting - within seven days. Similarly, eye specialist Manjulata Dash was deputed to the District Headquarters Hospital. They alleged that health and family welfare minister Pratap Jena visited the sub-divisional hospital during his last trip to Sambalpur around four-five months ago and had assured that vacant posts of doctors would be filled up. However, the committee alleged, not only has a single doctor been posted but those who serve at the hospital were also being deputed. The students and the staffs vacated the school after the cook informed about the incident to the headmaster Trilochan Behera.
