Six-year-old Indrajith of Shivamogga, who can rattle off the names of all the 224 Assembly constituencies in Karnataka with ease, has been declared as the district icon for the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) campaign of the Election Commission. The SVEEP campaign has been launched to enhance the polling percentage. M. Lokesh, Deputy Commissioner, told presspersons here on Tuesday that a video clip of Indrajith telling the names of the 224 constituencies had been prepared. Mr. Lokesh said the video clip would be screened at the awareness programmes that would be held as part of the SVEEP campaign. Mr. Shivakumar said his son had memorised the names of the Assembly segments over the past three months.
