The Black Sox softball squads cut short their pre-game preparations to launch a rousing haka after former captain Jarrad Martin was inducted into world softball's Hall of Fame. The Taranaki stalwart, who represented the Black Sox between 1991 and 2013, had barely finished his acceptance speech before the New Zealand Black Sox squad streamed onto the field. They were joined by the Black Sox B team, which Martin is co-coaching with fellow former Black Sox great Thomas Makea, at the TAB Challenge Cup tournament this weekend.
