Rob Stone, a particularly devout fan, made a two minute video putting together interview clips of the stars- Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy. Aptly titled Before the End, the clips of the actors joining via video conferencing invoke a sense of what the star-crossed lovers would do during the coronavirus pandemic. The Before trilogy comprises of three films directed by Richard Linklater, released at nine year intervals: Before Sunrise (1995), Before Sunset (2004), and Before Midnight (2013). The director won the Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival for the first installment. The films follow the relationship of Jesse (Hawke) and Celine (Delpy) through different stages of their lives, a romance forged on the Euro-rail surviving the test of time and distance.
