On the occasion, the High Commission premises were decorated with colorful banners, festoons, and posters. In the morning, Bangladesh High Commissioner to Pakistan, Md. Messages from the President, Prime Minister, Foreign Minister, and State Minister for Foreign Affairs were read out on the occasion. Iqbal Hossain Khan paid deep respect to the Birangonas and valiant freedom fighters and the martyrs who contributed for the nation.
