The 52-year-old journalist passed away in Dhaka's Square Hospital around 3am Sunday. Faruk was rushed to nearby Square Hospital where doctors, detecting blocks in his heart, recommended an urgent bypass surgery. Father of two school-going daughters, Faruk has worked at the Dainik Samachar, Dainik Rupali, Dainik Ajker Kagoj and Daily Jugantor. His second janaza will be held in his workplace Bangla Tribune at 2pm. The third janaza will be held at Mir Hazirbagh Khalpar Jame Masjid after Asr prayers before he is buried at the Jurain graveyard.
