Omar Faruk, special Correspondent of online news portal Bangla Tribune, has passed away following a cardiac arrest. He breathed his last at Dhaka’s Square Hospital around 3:30am Sunday, reports Bangla Tribune. His first namaj-e-janaza will be held around 1pm at Dhaka Reporters’ Unity and second one will take place at Bangla Tribune office. During his career, he worked in Daily Samachar, Daily Rupali, Daily Ajker Kagoj, Daily Jugantor and Bangla Tribune. He was a member of Dhaka Reporters’ Unity.
