It's been a long journey, but a former Bosnian refugee has finally opened his restaurant in St. John's — the first of its kind in the province. "People are slowly coming in and we've been sold out pretty much every day," he told the St. John's Morning Show. The Cookstown Road location finally opened more than six months after the first planned location on Boncloddy Street fell through due to zoning issues. Balkan Kitchen restaurant is open on Cookstown Road in St. John's. The Balkan burger is one of the dishes on the menu at the Balkan Kitchen restaurant.
