'A tremendous, senseless loss': Prince Albert landlord dies months after being shot in the throat

A landlord in Prince Albert who was shot during a contentious eviction last summer has died. Jim Primeau, 59, was shot in the throat in the backyard of his rental property on the 1900 block of 14th Street W. on June 4. He was at the property that day to ensure a tenant, who the family said had not paid rent for months, had vacated the unit. "Jim was extremely loved by his family and many good friends. It's a tremendous, senseless loss that we will never comprehend," Epp said in the statement.
