New Delhi: India’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto Ltd on Thursday posted a sharp decline of 21% year-on-year in its domestic motorcycle sales in December. Bajaj Auto dispatched 124,125 motorcycles in reported month against 157,252 units in the same month a year ago. While domestic sales weighed on the auto giant, exports showed a 13% increase in December. Bajaj Auto’s domestic commercial vehicles sales increased but exports witnessed a decline. In the quarter ended 30 September, Bajaj Auto posted 21.69% year-on-year rise in standalone net profit at ₹1,402.42 crore.
