A small fire in the Dunedin suburb of Ravensbourne was quickly brought under control by firefighters this afternoon. A Fire and Emergency New Zealand (Fenz) spokesman said it was called to the 5m by 1m backyard fire at 12.56pm. Fenz was told the fire started after sparks spread from a nearby site where KiwiRail staff were working.
