NEW DELHI : As voting for the Maharashtra elections will be held in Mumbai on Monday, the share market will remain closed. Both the leading stock exchanges, BSE and NSE, have announced trading holiday on 21 October on account of assembly elections. The share trading will resume on Tuesday. The browsers have also announced trading holiday for capital markets, futures and options and currency derivative segment, BSE and NSE said in separate circulars. The Nifty 50 index rose 75.50 points, or 0.65%, to close at 11,661.85.
