DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) candidateShoriful Alam has been unofficially elected from the Kishoreganj-6constituency in the 13th National Parliamentary Election, securing 1,87,159votes with the party symbol 'Sheaf of Paddy'. According to the unofficially announced results, his closest rival, AtaullahAmin of Khelafat Majlis received 44,095 votes. Meanwhile, in the referendum in this constituency, the 'Yes' secured 1,57,683votes while the 'No' got 60,002 votes. The information was disclosed during a formal briefing at the Referendum andThirteenth National Parliamentary Election 2026 Results Collection andPresentation Center of the Election Commission, held at the Agargaon ElectionBuilding in the capital.
