BNP unveiled its manifesto for the December 30 general election at Lakeshore Hotel, in Dhaka, on Tuesday. BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir read out the party manifesto full of promises they intend to implement if voted to power. In the manifesto, BNP pledged to practice democracy if voted into power. It will also amend the constitution to ensure executive power between President and Prime Minister is balanced. BNP also pledged to introduce an upper house, in parliament, if voted into power.
