On Wednesday mornings my car is filled with art materials, teenagers, birds nests, bundles of harakeke, clay and axolotls, which I’m trying not to let spill out of their containers and onto the kids when I go around corners. My plan was to bundle up subjects I find exciting - biology, geometry, pūrākau (narrative), sculpture, installation and technology - into a 20-week art project.
