Andre Le Pine-Day was the junior men’s champion at the Feilding Moa cross country champs ahead of this week’s regional meeting. ATHLETICS: It is championship time for the cross country runners. On Saturday the Athletic Manawatū Wanganui champs are being hosted by the Whanganui Harrier Club on the Bason Botanic Gardens course. In 2011 we hosted the Cooks Classic on behalf of the Whanganui Club following delays in the resurfacing of their track. Brandon Starc will contest the high jump, Brooke Stratton the long jump, Nick Hough the 110m hurdles and Jenny Blundell the 800m.
