Arsenal have reportedly joined the race to sign Kieran Trippier this summer, in what would represent a crossing of the divide move to acquire the former Tottenham man. Trippier has enjoyed a sublime debut season in LaLiga after winning the league title with Atletico Madrid and being named in the Team of the Season after a campaign of consistent performances. In recent weeks Trippier has been increasingly linked with Manchester United, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer bids to acquire competition for Aaron Wan-Bissaka. It is noted that Bellerin, 26, is open to a move back to Spain, with his Arsenal career stalling in recent years due to persistent injury problems. Atletico sporting director, Andrea Berta, is said to be a big admirer of former Barcelona man Bellerin and believes he can recapture his best form back in his home nation.
