A man has been arrested after hitting a police officer with a car in Auckland on Saturday. Police located him this afternoon in Mt Albert after "extensive inquiries" and he was taken into custody. The 44-year-old man was due to be sentenced in the Auckland District Court on another matter when he evaded officers and injured a police woman in Three Kings. - NZ Herald
