NYON, Switzerland (AP) " UEFA has listed Manchester City transfer target John Stones in the team's squad for the Champions League playoff round even before the defender has completed an expected move from Everton. UEFA's website shows Stones with the squad number 24 on a list of players eligible to face Steaua Bucharest in a first-leg match in Romania next Tuesday. However, Champions League rules let one more newly signed player be added to the list by 2200 GMT on the day before the first-leg match. UEFA requires playoff-round clubs to submit a list of eligible players by 2200 GMT on Wednesday. Man City's offseason pursuit of 22-year-old Stones has not been sealed as Everton seeks a reported fee of 50 million pounds ($65 million).
