Missing elderly woman found 'safe and well' north of ChristchurchSUPPLIEDA 91-year-old woman reported missing in Christchurch has been found safe just north of the city. Winnifred Joyce Ross , who has memory loss, was reported missing after failing to pick up her husband from Christchurch Hospital at 2.30pm on Tuesday. A police spokesman said Ross was found "safe and well" at Pines Beach, just north of Christchurch, about 9.20pm. In a statement, police said Ross was last seen leaving the hospital at 1.15pm in her blue-coloured Toyota Corolla hatchback. obviously checked out first and then taken home," he said.
