The Army has seized a microbus carrying Tk 1.05 million in Chandanaish and handed it over to police ahead of polling in the Chattogram-14 parliamentary constituency.The seizure was made during a search near Abdul Bari Hat late on Tuesday night, according to police.Chandanaish Police Station chief Elias Khan told bdnews24.com that Army personnel handed over the vehicle along with the cash under instructions from the returning officer.He said the fate of the seized money will be decided by the election tribunal.Local journalists reported that three people, including the driver, were in the microbus at the time.
