A Dhaka court has granted one-month bail to cricketer Arafat Sunny in a case filed under the Woman and Children Repression Prevention Act. Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Md Kamrul Hossain Mollah passed the order on Thursday asking Sunny to settle the issue with plaintiff Nasrin Sultana. The court also said it would cancel the bail if Sunny failed to come up with a solution by April 10. Nasrin filed the case against Sunny and his mother on February 1. After six months, Sunny and his mother allegedly demanded a dowry of Tk20 lakh on July 29, 2015.
