April cooler than normal


April was slightly cooler than usual in Hong Kong, when the average temperature was 22 degrees Celsius, or 0.6 degree below the normal of 22.6 degrees, the Hong Kong Obervatory says. The month was also drier than usual. The total rainfall was 77.8 millimeters, about 55 percent below the normal of 174.7mm. The accumulated rainfall in the first four months was 213.7mm, about 36 percent below the normal of 336.1mm for the same period.
