With the theme “Kidney Disease and Obesity”, the hospital organised an awareness raising programme in collaboration with the Environmental and Social Club of East West University on the university campus. In the morning, it also held a rally at Gulshan Joggers Club Park, where some 250 participants were provided with free medical check-up services and healthy food. In the afternoon, another interactive session with patients was organised, where the hospital’s doctors discussed various renal ailments and their prevention. Among others, Md Enayet Ullah Khan, director of Business Development, and Dr Arif Mahmud, senior general manager for medical services, attended the programmes.
