MANILA, Philippines — The Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) hailed Manila Mayor Isko Moreno for issuing an executive order (EO) promoting ease of doing business in the national capital. “[ARTA] commends Manila City Mayor Francisco ‘Isko Moreno’ Domagoso, for issuing an Executive Order that effectively puts up a Business One Stop Shop (BOSS) within the City of Manila,” the agency said in a statement. ADVERTISEMENTARTA was referring to Moreno’s EO No. 8 which seeks to “streamline the issuance of local business license, clearances, permits, certification and authorizations, as well as manage the flow of documents” in the city. This law requires every city or municipality to have a BOSS.
