SEREMBAN: Seremban Member of Parliament, Anthony Loke Siew Fook, is well aware of the burden he will be shouldering as Transport Minister. Loke, who is DAP national organising secretary, said he regarded his appointment as a huge honour, as it gives him the opportunity to serve the people as a minister. “I understand the magnitude of the role and the importance of the Transport Ministry. Asked on his plans for the ministry, Loke said for starters, he will have meetings and discussions at ministry level. On Friday, MH17 victims’ next-of-kin had expressed hope that the new Pakatan Harapan government, especially the Transport Ministry, would speed up the claims process, as had been pledged to them four years ago.
