Another staffer of the Immigration Department tower in Wan Chai is infected with the coronavirus. The Immigration Department said a female senior immigration assistant at the control support section has tested positive for the virus on Wednesday evening. She is mainly responsible for providing supporting services at the 14/F of the Wan Chai Immigration Tower. Since a male senior immigration assistant working in the same section tested positive for the virus on July 13, the department said it had arranged her and staffers to be tested. Other immigration staff tested negative, while a small fraction of the samples are yet to be released.
