The Health Secretary Sophia Chan Siu-chee said today that the government is considering extending restrictions including the dine-in ban and mandatory face masks, to more areas if the local coronavirus outbreak does not improve, RTHK reports. She explained that the requirement does not cover outdoors locations yet, but the government is open to such a move. She explained that there is better ventilation outdoors and it may be difficult for people to keep their face masks on when they are working out. But she added that any decisions to extend the rule will also depend on the public's acceptance of it. Chan appealed to the public for their self discipline and observe social distancing rules while maintaining hygiene to combat the health crisis.
