The depiction of former US president Barack Obama and his wife Michelle as apes in a video that was shared from President Trump's social media account has been condemned by America’s oldest and largest Irish Catholic organisation. The Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) made the comments after the video, which remained on Trump’s Truth Social account for several hours, superimposed the heads of Barack and Michelle Obama onto the bodies of apes towards the end of the minute-long post.
