Police responded to New Plymouth's Vogeltown Pharmacy on Monday after a reported break-in. A would-be burglar was caught red handed by fast acting Taranaki police on Monday. The alleged offender broke into New Plymouth's Vogeltown Pharmacy about 3.30pm but was quickly arrested at the scene by police. Four patrol cars responded and took the man into custody. He sat in the back of a car while officers spoke to the business owner.
