PHOTO | DAILY NATIONAl-Shabaab militants on Thursday morning raided an Administration Police camp in Mandera and made away with four Biometric Voter Registration kits (BVR). According to a press release issued by the Assistant Inspector General, George Kinoti, the assailants numbering more than 100, attacked Arabia Police Camp in Mandera East Sub County in the wee hours of Thursday morning. The police have also appealed to members of the public to report any person with suspicious injuries or suspicious activities to the nearest police station. The raid came just two months after Cabinet Secretary Joe Mucheru warned that the Al-Shabaab might disrupt the forthcoming general election.
