Actors Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan‘s 2007 film Bhool Bhulaiyaa is likely to get a sequel, reports suggest. While Priyadarshan directed the original, the new film will be written and directed by Farhad Samji. The original film was an official remake of the Tamil hit Chandramukhi starring Rajinikanth. Chandramukhi, itself was a remake of 1993 Malayalam film, Manichitrathazhu starring Mohanlal and Shobana. Soon, strange things begin to happen and he is forced to call his psychiatrist friend Aditya (Akshay) for help.
