The Enforcement Directorate (ED) Friday moved the Delhi Court to revoke the "approver" status of Rajiv Saxena in connection with the Agusta Westland money laundering case. In the plea filed by the ED, the investigation agency alleged that Rajiv Saxena withheld information, and misled the probe in the VVIP chopper scandal. Saxena's Counsel Senior advocate Geeta Luthra had argued that he was seeking bail on medical grounds. "The applicant (Rajiv Saxena) also has advanced stage leukemia (blood cancer) and is terminally ill. The applicant is suffering radiating back pain, numbness, and heaviness in legs, neck pain and muscle spasms," stated the bail plea filed in the court.
