An Uber driver in California tried to burglarize the residence of his passengers after dropping them off at the airport. The San Mateo Police Department arrested the driver, Jackie Gordon Wilson, in Sacramento last April 5, as per the department’s news release on April 8. ADVERTISEMENTWilson dropped off his passengers at the airport last Thursday, April 4, and an hour later drove to his passengers’ very home on Rand Street in an attempt to burglarize it. His attempt was thwarted, however, when an alarm sounded, prompting him instead to burglarize another home in Nash Drive, which was in the same neighborhood. The Nash Drive homeowner had Ring video surveillance of Wilson breaking into their home and identified him, thanks to users of the surveillance community sharing platform.
