Ababu, disgruntled western Kenya ODM MPs told to join Jubilee

Former Shinyalu MP Justus Kizito has asked ODM leaders from western Kenya who are dissatisfied with the party to join Jubilee. He told ODM secretary general Ababu Namwamba and deputy chairman Paul Otuoma to learn from what happened to Deputy President William Ruto and ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi before they left the party. Busia deputy governor Kizito Wangalwa, Kisumu West MP Olago Aluoch and nominated MCA Ben Ombima have asked the party not to chase away disgruntled ODM leaders from the party. Tension is simmering within ODM after Ababu and Otuoma led six other party MPs last week at a press conference where they complained of mistreatment by a clique of party officials. ODM held a central management committee meeting on Wednesday in Nairobi to address the issues raised by Ababu in order to avoid possible fallout ahead of 2017 polls.
