Kluber went five innings, threw 89 pitches and was tagged for two runs, including Donaldson’s homer. Over the course of the regular season, he logged 192 innings, a quantum leap from the 132 innings he tossed in 2014, his next busiest season. Add in 11.2 innings he pitched in this postseason and his innings total sits at 203.2 innings, far more than anyone believed possible. He responded with a bullet up the middle that went for a single and plated two runs to give Toronto a 4-1 lead.
