Mojibur Rahman, the Agriculture Affairs secretary of the Satkhira District Awami League was detained for not disclosing the issue of carrying a weapon with him, on Friday. He also claimed to be a retired sergeant of Bangladesh Army. The wing commander added: “When the airport securities asked him about the weapon he was carrying, Mojibur was unable to give any proper explanation. “He was handed over to the Airport police station later.”
