The minister did not elaborate on the project, but brought up the matter in light of the recent student protests for road safety, which sparked after the death of Bangladesh University of Professionals student, on Tuesday. The minister said this while inaugurating the construction of the six-storey Baitul Hasan (R) Jame Mosque in the Nayatola area in Dhaka’s Moghbazar after the Jummah prayers, said a press release issued by the home ministry. The land had been abandoned and later assigned by the prime minister for the construction of the mosque, he added.
