AC Energy total output hits 1.8 GW in 2019 – The Manila Times


AC Energy Inc. registered an attributable capacity of 1.8 gigawatts (GW) from its power plants here and abroad as of end-2019 with the inclusion of more renewable energy (RE) facilities in its portfolio. To ramp up its RE investments, AC Energy made two green bond issues in the past year. In the Philippines, AC Energy also has an 81-MW wind farm in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte in its portfolio after completing the acquisition of shares in the wind farm’s operator last month. With over 1 billion of invested and committed equity in renewable and thermal energy in the Philippines and around the region, AC Energy aspires to achieve 5 GW of renewables capacity by 2025. AC Energy shares were down by 18 centavos or 10.29 percent to close at P1.57 each on Monday.
